As was mentioned in class, this series is kind of a mixed bag. I think you communicate your ideas quite well in what you wrote in your artist's statement, but in the execution you have ended up with some images that are quite interesting and others that are, I'm sorry to say, compositionally flat. If I'm being honest, they feel a bit rushed. However, as I mentioned, there are a few gems in there. Perhaps editing out the images that aren't working would have been the smarter choice.
